CarrotCRM's free plan: what one user gets

The free plan covers one user, 3 sequence templates and 5 property reports a month. Texting carries messaging rates, and CarrotCRM says it has no setup fees. The paid step is Essential at $69 a month for 3 users. CarrotCRM's page prints no billing basis beside that figure, and no yearly price appears on the rendered page.

InvestorFuse's own site says Carrot acquired it in 2022, and the product is now CarrotCRM. REsimpli vs Carrot compares CarrotCRM's paid plans with REsimpli's.

Podio and DealCheck: free tools that are not investor CRMs

Podio's free plan is $0 for up to 5 users. Podio is a general work platform: its pricing page meters users, workflow actions and API calls, and lists no dialer or skip tracing. Plus is $14 per user a month on monthly billing and $11.20 on annual billing.

DealCheck's free Starter plan covers up to 15 saved properties and needs no credit card. It is deal analysis software, with no CRM, dialer or data. Its Plus plan is $14 a month, billed monthly.

Is REsimpli free? A trial, not a plan

REsimpli is not free: it offers a 14-day free trial, card required, instead of a free plan. The trial runs on any plan, monthly or yearly, and each organization gets one. REsimpli charges the card on day 15 unless you cancel first.

After the trial, Solo is $299 a month billed monthly, or $249 a month billed yearly. Annual plans are non-refundable once the trial ends, and REsimpli's terms say it offers no 30-day money-back guarantee on annual subscriptions. REsimpli free trial covers the trial terms.

When a free CRM stops being enough

A free plan stops being enough when you call and text lists every week or add a second user. CarrotCRM Free stops at one user and 5 property reports a month, and Podio has no dialer or skip tracing. REsimpli Solo packs those jobs into one plan: 1 user, 1 phone number, the Triple Line Dialer and 10,000 monthly skip tracing credits, pooled with no roll-over.

A wholesaler still deciding whether any CRM pays off can start with is a CRM worth it for wholesaling real estate, which weighs a CRM against a spreadsheet.
